Thank you so much to those of you who have checked out our web page and contacted us regarding book donations. Philadelphia Inquirer’s Kevin Riordan’s recent column written on the Camden County Pop Up Library has quadrupled our book donation offers! If you haven’t already, click here to read the wonderful column.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept book donations at the moment. We have an overwhelming amount of books and we mostly lack Pop Up Librarians and funds for more storage and transportation options. With more Pop Up Librarians, we can host more Pop Up Libraries and get these books to our readers! With more funds, we can invest in additional storage bins and a van to transport books!
We appreciate and want to accept your book donations, so hold tight! Of course, if you have to move the books quickly, we understand. But for those of you that can bear with us, we’ll record your contact information and follow-up with you as soon as we have more spacial availability!
A “Donate” button will be set up shortly for direct financial donations. Currently and always, we accept check and card donations. Checks can be made out to Camden County Pop Up Library and mailed to P.O. Box 44, Oaklyn, NJ, 08107. Credit or debit cards can be taken over the phone—contact Tom Martin at (856) 308-6992.
Thank you so much for your eagerness to donate your books and for your patience while we adjust accordingly!
